The Story So Far...

CocoCush is a textile design company showcasing eclectic, funky & vibrant designs.  

It is based in rural East Sussex and owned

and run by designer Lisa Hurley.

Lisa began coming up with design ideas for CocoCush in the 2020 lockdown, and has grown the company from there to the present day.

Her inspirations are many and varied, drawing on ancient and historical pottery, art and textiles as well as more modern themes such as expressionist art, arts and crafts, fabulously kitsch pop culture, and the simple beauty of nature.

Our design ethos is very much in line with that of the famous British artist, designer and poet William Morris who said "Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful".
